Hi, my name is Connie and I love to write.
Different, but not wrong.
Oct 14, 2018 6 years agoDifferent, but not wrong. It is just like how you were born to be good, but not perfect. Or like how you prepare your favorite food. It might not wrong, but it is different than how other people might cook that same dish. Everyone in my class is different, including me, but our ways or beliefs are not wrong. Maybe just different. At my house, we call The Living Room, The Big Palo. It is not wrong, just different than what other people in my class might call their Living Room. So if you ever want to say, " You are weird because you like outside better than inside." YOU are wrong. They are just different than you are. Everyone is. None of us were made the same. God made us all different. Always remember that. Always remember that everyone is different. Different, but not wrong.
The Unfortunate Ariel
Jul 30, 2018 6 years agoAriel quivered as a cool gusty wind flew up against her skirt causing it to fly up. She quickly flattened it as her little brother and sister caught up to her. The 5-year boy just smiled at his sister as he marched by. They were on there way to school, and they were never in much of a rush. They didn't care if they were late, everyone thought they were garbage anyways. Sometimes if they were brave enough they hide behind the trash can. "Ariel," said Jake "Can I hide behind the trash can. Please!? "No, not today," she said. She rose an eyebrow as she came closer to school. Everyone was outside crying. She picked up her sister, Ella and moved over with Jake. "What happened? asked Ariel quietly. " They was a shooting at the school, 5 died and 15 in the hospital. Go home and take Luke, Anna, and your parents somewhere safe. Ariel picked up Ella and looked at Jake. They sprinted home as fast as they could. As soon as they got home they saw blood everywhere. Ariel closed the door and ran upstairs. No one. Came back down and into the kitchen, she saw it. Her parents and brother and had been shot. She fell to her knees and started crying, her brother by her side.
Mistakes Happen
Jul 30, 2018 6 years agoAfter lunch, it was time for recess and I wanted to play on the jungle gym in the center of the playground. My very nice friends were talking up there and laughing when we decide to play a game called "Space Monkey". Someone is "it" and they chase everyone around. If you are tagged or touch the ground you are it. So I was climbing and sometimes we are very slow at climbing and we have to wait for them to move before we can go. I hate being it. So I try climb passed that person but I slipped. It was very hot and I had sweaty hands. I try to regain my balance I ended upside, with my pink underwear showing. I try to hide it. But it was too late. Everyone saw it. I was so embarrassed, I just dropped. I was so high up. I hit my head. HARD. I wake up and everyone was around me and I remember what happened my and my friends help me up. And everyone started clapping. Suddenly I wasn't so embarrassed because my friends told me that nobody was laughing at my underwear. My very funny classmate told a joke. Another round of applause and I take a bow. Now I have a lot of new friends from different classes at my school. And from then on, I remember this "Don't be embarrassed we are all humans and we all make mistakes."
