A book that helped me in the dark phase of my life

It's okay to not to be okay sometimes. We all grow through phases in our life. Some good and some bad phases teach us the most beautiful lessons. It is life. During my sophomore year of my high school I was contemplating suicide.I couldn't see any other path.I was trying to maintain my appearance that everything was okay. And then I began to isolate myself from my friends, family and stay in a dark room always to hide myself from the world.Gradually my nights became sleepless,my eyes became numb,my head became heavy and I fainted.Suicide seemed to be the only escape for me. At that worst situation,my father gave me this amazing book-Dear stranger,I know how you feel by Ashish Bagrecha. The author hasn't written words but emotions. This book has 30 poems and 30 letters.I can guarantee that if anyone read each letter per day, something magical will happen with him. After reading this book, I felt I am not the only one who is suffering, there are people who need support.Ashish had a panic attack. He fought against the odds and won. This book is all about his journey of hope and healing. It teaches us about pain, anxiety, emptiness, negativity, self harm and also health, healing and hope-a journey towards positive life. After reading each letter you'll get a postive vibe.Ashish felt that souls like us deserve to be loved. There is no one with me who listens to me,who supports me but this book held my hand and will stay with me forever. Thanks to Ashish Bagrecha for this life changing book and to my parents.I survived.
