The time has come for me to share my new happiness, my new eBook release announcement with you! Postcards From Beyond Reality: The Selected Poems of Michael Daniels is a young adult poetry book I wrote as a companion that is a sibling book to my novel Cruel Summer. Originally published in Croatian in a periodical Forum in 2003, Postcards From Beyond Reality: The Selected Poems of Michael Daniels will be released on Amazon on March 20, 2022 as an eBook and a few days later as a paperback! But you can pre-order it now! In this book of poetry, I dived into the mind of a teenage protagonist Michael Daniels from my novel Cruel Summer, writing about his dreams, longings, desires, traumas, passions. If that isn't intriguing enough, I hope my book description will be. *** His life has been a cocktail of melancholy, sorrow, and desire. When a skateboarder dips his pen into poetry, what will his passion create? After a lifetime of abuse and the tragic loss of his mother, NYC teen Michael Daniels needed an outlet. Despite his cheerful nature, his inner mind was teeming with the stark contrast of darkness and light. So, in this volume full of imagery and symbolism, his underground rhymes reflect days full of extreme sports, failed relationships, and nostalgic memories. Written by Bernard Jan in character as the hero from his novel Cruel Summer, this channeled view of the world is an extravaganza of extremes. And in its groundbreaking perspectives, you'll discover the cries of a heart longing to be understood. Buy this book of poetry and feel Michael's passion through these unusual literary postcards. *** I want to thank the authors from the Best Page Forward team who helped me with my blurb and Jessica Bell for the amazing book cover I am also presenting here. I hope you will embrace this book and treat it with love and affection. Please show some love to the Best Page Forward team and Jessica Bell by visiting their pages. Curious to download your copy? You can do it here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C7JGMNG/. “Man. . . . Man's a great mystery. We know not where he comes from, nor where he's going. Elusive, like a shadow, he leaves wasteland in his wake. Wasteland and destruction.” “This . . . man, is he dangerous?” “Very dangerous, son. More than anything you can imagine or will ever see in your life. You must try never to meet one. If you do come across man but it's too late to run, be brave. Wait for him. Whatever happens, never, ever turn your back on him. Look him straight in the eye. It's the only way you might save your life. That's the moment when he's most vulnerable and won't harm you. Human beings attack on the sly, behind your back.” “But how can I not meet a man? How do I avoid him?” the pup said, his tone hopeless. “You'll sense him coming. You know, son, man has a special smell. The scent of fear, misfortune, and pain. He feeds on it. You'll recognize him by this scent.” Although Look for Me Under the Rainbow is listed in a program for elementary schools in Croatia as a reading of choice for seventh graders, it is a story for everyone, especially the readers who cherish our beautiful planet and wish to protect its treasures. In this quarantine times, I find a breakthrough in my life, that makes my life more meaningful. I found a self-development program that really makes a great impact in every aspect. This program has a refund if we really did all the task required, but we can also continue to the next level if we choose not to refund it. The program is called Life-book. It was developed by Jon and Missy Butcher and emphasizes on how we create and achieve our goals in 12 different aspects: Health and Fitness, Intellectual, Emotional, Spiritual, Character, Love and Relationship, Social Life, Parenting, Financial, Career, Quality of Life and Life Vision. I joined this program through Mind-valley education program. Before this quarantine times, I lived a remarkably busy life. Sometimes it feels like 24 hours is not enough to finish all my ‘need to do' list. Sometimes I feel exhausted because of all the activities all day round. That makes my life seems meaningless, because I do not have times to evaluate and correct my life. And to make it worse, I never have a clear life vision when I finished my education long time ago. So, it seems that I only live my life just like that, without ever plan or evaluate my achievements. When I first joined Life-book program, I directly saw what went wrong in my life. This program forces us to think about what our vision is in every aspect, and how to get them. And although it's not part of the program, I also review all my achievements and failures in the past and try to understand myself. It seems that I already lost control of my life. Because of that, I vowed to take back the control of my life in every aspect mentioned before. Now, I continue to control my own life. Sometimes I can get more than expected, sometimes I experienced some setbacks. But I keep using my Life-book as my life compass. And every month, I evaluate my Life-book and update it according to the present circumstances. And I hope this Life-book will help me achieve all my life goals in the future

My story of a harp seal pup Danny and his family, Look for Me Under the Rainbow, is at a 67% discounted price on Amazon. Sunday, May 24, 2020, 8:00 AM PDT through Sunday, May 31, 2020, 12:00 AM PDT Time will show whether we were right or not, whether we raised such an outcry in vain and whether it was really necessary to shock the world with heart-rending reports and photographs, to upset the daily routine of ordinary people, disturbing their time for rest and their recreational habits, or spoiling their freshly-cooked meal. I can only hope that one day we shall be forgiven if it turns out that man is responsible for the extinction of the last inhabitant of the seas, and the walls of death on their ghostly routes come to clutch us all in their deadly suffocating grip. I shall stop writing for a moment. Erwin is coming and, if I'm not mistaken, he seems to be bringing me a mug of steaming coffee. I admit I need it with the yearning of an addict. Look for Me Under the Rainbow is a work of fiction, though the killing of harp seals in Canada is a reality which has been going on for decades already. Despite the huge public outcry and many national bans on the import and sale of seal products, the massacre on ice continues. Every year, tens of thousands of seals fall victim to human greed. Although Look for Me Under the Rainbow is listed in a program for elementary schools in Croatia as a reading of choice for seventh graders, it is written for everyone. For all of us, no matter our age, who will open our hearts and minds and with small steps in our lives start a big change on a global scale. Thank you all who will download this touching story during its promo week and write honest reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. Thank you for helping this important cause and for spreading the message. Hi, authors...I have a question for you and it's a fun one. I think. When creating your book characters (regardless of genre) you can visualize them so clearly, that you imagine as if they're real, right? If not, that's okay. No worries. But for me...I have an active/creative imagination when it comes to writing my books, so I've put in a lot of thinking about actors of whom could/would portray my characters; actors that help me visualize them all. Even down to the smallest detail and some actors that I've chosen are 100% without a doubt-handsdown the character so when you see my weekly 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬/𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 posts, you're seeing my characters physically brought to life. .. *Take a sigh* .. So allow me to introduce character number one: 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐮𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬. He's an ambitious man of half Japanese heritage (although extremely power hungry) practicing the dark arts and necromancy, with an endless search for more power and the Book of Solomon. You'd think taking over the Great City and declaring himself Lord of London (aka Great City) would be enough, but for Drakuul...he wants more; no matter the cost. His search for the Book of Solomon leads him to the Isle of Castillion where his greed for power and control brings to his end at the hands of Jinn and his magical blade. .. Actor Portrayal: Ian Anthony Dale Actor/Character Likeness: 100% Present In: Secrets of Ravenstone and On the Evil Scale
A town where the snow is black, bringing coldness and fear. Old remnants of tears held back, and times too hard to bear. Woven from black sheets of rain, fear covers in disarray. Anguished and frozen with pain, dark petals fall in dismay. Hell has come to Oasis, The Dead and gone at its side. Now hidden behind faces that are well-known far and wide. Who will fall prey to The Dead? I hope it is not me. I'm hiding under my bed. I'm afraid as I can be. Prey for The Dead

Make the best use of my Kindle promo week and get the story of a harp seal Danny at a favorable price! Thank you for spreading the word and telling others about it. Even more, thank you for leaving an honest review on Amazon and Goodreads. Don't forget: my other book A World Without Color is at a permanent price of $0.99! “A book filled with heart and love for all living things, I found the book touching and inspirational! The author's sincere character is embedded into each & every word! I highly recommend this book and give it five stars!”—S. Richard, author of Man at 50: A Journey of Crisis, Revelation and Survival! An excerpt from Look for Me Under the Rainbow: One day everything changed. Danny got a brother. Overwhelmed with joy, he completely forgot about the fear he felt when his mother left him alone a little longer than usual. He had begun to think something happened to her. Like maybe the sea current dragged her to the open sea where a killer whale swallowed her up . . . or a shark tore her apart . . . or she got caught in the ice . . . or she met a man. . . . But when he saw her coming with a tiny pup in tow, just opening its eyes, his fears and foreboding dispelled. Danny received Jon with such sincere affection and love, his mother almost burst into tears from happiness and pride. Jon's mother died in labor leaving him alone. And he barely survived. Even Danny's father, in their vicinity at that moment, was slightly bemused by this extraordinary show of affection. But as soon as Danny—feeling his gaze—turned to look at him, his father averted his eyes and disappeared behind a huge chunk of ice. Now she had not one, but two pups to worry about. Danny refused to be weaned and now Jon suckled as if he had not tasted food in his entire life. Still, Danny's mother knew she did the right thing. Her malcontent and mischievous little pup Danny whom she could not let out of sight even for a second, now changed beyond recognition. Not only did he stop pestering her with his interminable questions, he almost stopped his excursions to the sea. His attention focused on Jon, he treated his adopted brother with warmth and kindness. She thought that was amazing. If she weren't a mother who loved Danny more than anything in the world, she might have thought his love for Jon stronger than her own. But that was impossible. She loved Danny as much as it was possible to love anybody. BJ Source: https://bit.ly/2ElM0v2
