Israel had it made. God sent bread from heaven for them to eat ( Exodus 16:4). They heard his voice out loud (Duet. 5: 22-27). Israel didn't know how good they had it. They complained. Then God sent Jesus to die for us and shed his blood ( Matt. 27:45-54).We ought to be closer to the Lord more than ever. As long as we can eat and drink and have material things, some folks think this life is all there is. We've been bamboozled. Satan keeps putting things in the world to make us forget God. The only way we'll truly be happy is to be with the Lord and that's what God wants
