FAITH AGAINST CORONAVIRUS

It is generally consensus that due to the coronavirus the life of mankind has been significantly altered. The eminent danger of the virus has been disseminated around the world. Television, radio, and newspapers are constantly spreading various facts about it. Most people are in a state of panic: who are in a hurry to stock up for months, who are confused and do not know what to do. Quarantine! The world is quarantined. Countries, cities are quarantined. Everyone has one thought: when does it end? No one can speculate the exact date. Those who saw it with their own eyes, and those who did not see it, were afraid that the disease would infect them or their relatives and die "five days before their death." Only Muslims who are deeply rooted in the heart of faith are at peace. They do their best, but they do not get baffled. Because they know for sure that any hardship, disease, even plague is the test given by God. A test for faith, a test for confession, a test for submission! Test, yes, just test! Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): When people say, "We believe," do they think that they will be left without being tested? And we tested those before them(Sura al-Ankabut, 2: 3). Surrendering is the only way to pass any test. The best way is to surrender to the will of Allah, to believe in destiny, to believe in what has happened, to wait for salvation from Allah alone, to repent in this hope, to ask forgiveness, and to strengthen one's faith by praying. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):"Allah will not punish them while they are seeking forgiveness" (Sura al-Anfal, 33). However, let us learn the supplications from the learned and turn to the Truth only with the supplications narrated in the authentic hadiths! For example, if we make the "morning" and "evening" prayers mentioned in the authentic narrations a daily habit, we will follow the Sunnah beautifully and, Insha'Allah, we will clearly see its benefits. Let each of us, who claim to be a true Muslim, take advantage of these days and quarantine, and try to increase the number of good deeds that we have not been able to achieve before! In particular, let's reinforce the surahs and verses we have memorized before! Let's try to memorize more surahs! Let us recite the Qur'an from the original text. Let those who are suffering from Tajweed, subscribe to the channels dedicated to it, and correct our Tajweeds as much as possible. For those of us who can't read the Qur'an from the original text, let's learn using Arabic-language channels. While mosques are temporarily quarantined, let us strive to pray in our homes with our families! Let's meet our relatives, neighbors, relatives, even if we can't make a temporary visit, even if it's on the phone, let's ask about their situation and cheer them up! Ways to help our needs online have also become easier. If we have the opportunity, let us help our poor, needy and needy fellow believers in this way. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: (narrated by Anas ibn Malik on the authority of al-Tirmidhi and counted as hasan)Today, when there is mass quarantine and it is difficult to go out of the house, let us unite with our fellow believers: let us pray in absentia for all Muslims, acquaintances and strangers! It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "If a Muslim prays to his brother in secret, the angel will say, 'May it be like that for you"(narrated by Muslim). May God help us all to pass these tests easily! Amen!
