Paris,‘the city of Romance',the center of fashion,” “the palace of art,” “the gourmet paradise,” and “City of lights”,‘the culinary capital of the world', all these are few nicknames for the famous city in France. The City of Light nickname has also been used to refer to the Age of Enlightenment in Paris, bringing to the fore poets, philosophers, scientists and engineers who all played a part in the city's development. Over seven million people visit each year. Paris, France is one of the most amazing places you will ever visit. There are so many phenomenal things to see and do,you'd never get bored. It is the capital city of France and is very popular. The French city of Paris is located on the River Seine in the north of France, in the heart of Ile de Firas, and Ile de France, it is an area in northern France, close to the middle. Regarded as the City of fascinating unforgettable experiences,many tourists visit it and have been fascinated towards its status of being one of the most appealing, glamorous, and romantic of all the cities. People from all over the world travel to Paris to discover and experience this fairy-like city. It is the home of love, inspiration, art and fashion. Growing up I fell in love with this city cause of the romantic stories I heard about it,how it brings together lovebirds and soulmates despite race, accents, social status and even physique. Love in its purest form exudes in this city. Everything in Paris makes people think either cultural or artistic, either fashionable or romantic. The City of Light is the world's most visited capital. proud of its many monuments from the iconic Eiffel Tower to the lofty Notre-Dame cathedral and the majestic Arc de Triomphe. No doubt this is Europe's most enchanting capital! Located along the Seine River some 233 miles (375 km) upstream from the river's mouth on the English Channel (La Manche), by about 7600 bce,the beautiful city lies originally a Roman City called “Lutetia.” Paris today is known as a center of arts and rich culture both acclaimed and original. Famous moments pop up through the history of France's art, such as the impressionistic artworks by Monet, the École des Beaux-Arts teachings of classicism, and the iconic Eiffel Tower by Stephen Sauvestre. Paris augments itself with numerous museums to catalog countless masterpieces and sculptures throughout France's enduring, yet sometimes gritty, history. I fall hopelessly, helplessly, head-over-heels in love with the city when I think of it's tower, i drink in every single detail: The painstaking, exquisite curves of the architecture;the way locals literally stopped to bury their flowers, the mouth watering cuisine,the music, so many things to love about this place. The most Prominent landmark in Paris would have to be the Eiffel Tower. Eiffel Tower is one of the most-visited monuments in the entire world and is often referred to as one of the most romantic destinations, with up to three proposals happening at the top every hour! While queues to the Eiffel Tower can be a bit manic, a visit to at least see the tower, if not go up it, is a must for all visitors to the French capital,and it is always worth it. The Eiffel tower is the trademark of Paris, France. With the tower being 984ft, it's kind of hard not to notice it. The tower has a restaurant, radio and television transmitter and more. Gustave A. Eiffel created the tower to enter it in the worlds fair. It was made with wrought iron and had medium wind resistance. The tower, constructed of about 7000 tons of iron, has stairs and elevators. A meteorological station, a radio communications station, and a television transmission antenna, as well as a suite of rooms that were used by Eiffel are located near the top of the tower. One of the largest and most visited museums in the world, the Musee du Louvre is the premier museum in Paris. This museum houses over 35,000 works of art in over 60,000 square meters Paris also has many art galleries. Musee de L'orangerie, the Pompidou center, and the Orsay museum are just a few. Musee de L'orangerie's exhibits are mostly by impressionist including Heri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, and Claude Monet. By far the most famous works there are a few paintings from Clade Monet's series ‘Water Lilies'. Paris is a wonder to be experienced by everyone. It remains the most interesting and captivating city in Europe standing out from every other city in the world,it is the city of beauty,my dream city,and the city of illumination.
