My name is Iva Cvjeticanin. I am a former restaurant worker in NYC, whose writing has been featured in both Oddball Magazine and The Adelaide Literary. I was born in Zagreb, Croatia and spent the majority of her life growing up in Queens, NYC. Post attending NYU, my father was sent to prison and I lost everything. Through that loss, I gained the opportunity to see how the other world lives. This was the inspiration for most of my writing and gave me experiences that never would have had otherwise.
