Tammy Martinez, an independent writer with a passionate curiosity for life, love, mental health, and the way the mind works. Journaling [and writing poetry] from the age of 14, to now, 39, I’ve gathered an eclectic array of revealing experiences throughout the years and managed to capture them in words on paper. My love and devotion to writing, and the fascination and interest in mental health, ignited when the need was essential to life.
Writing has always been a mode of therapy for me, even before it was realized. The power of words has always propelled me to move forward in life.
I have 3 children 20, 18, and 14; a granddaughter, 2, and 2 adorable little boys, 3 and 5, that I help take care of with my boyfriend of 2 years.
