Navigating career choices:Follow your vision As students, the most difficult decision we face is choosing a career path.Our future, financial stability and the most important mental stability depend on this choice. So,choosing the right career path from versatile options can feel overwhelming. My journey in the past one year has been nothing sort of a wild ride.The experiences and the learnings during my sophomore year of high school have taught me about myself.I didn't know what I want to do in my life.I being too lazy was not stepping out of my comfort zone.Everybody around me were pursuing their dreams of becoming doctors or engineers as a ''safe'' career path.Though my parents advised me to do this but I wasn't passionate about it. So, to rethink my career path, I started to spend some time trying to understand myself. Self assessment is a must to know one's interests, values,weaknesses. The subject I love studying, the activities I enjoy,my natural skills,my passion are the factors that influence the potential career path which makes who I am.My love for photojournalism and writing captured my mind in the most beautiful and captivating way.Photography for me is telling stories without saying words.Writing for me is showing my true emotions.I found myself. The light I sought for in the outside world was always within myself. Looking back at it, one thing that has really helped me is the ability to take brave decisions.So,embrace your journey and follow your vision.
