Beneath these ashen towers, stoic warriors take root With tortured spines that she devours Their rawboned arms in wild pursuit Beneath these ashen towers Yet when a heavy groan sweeps through weary land, A time-worn steeple loses heart Forgotten history grinded into sand With clouded eyes she chokes her domain But perchance a small yet willful flower Can break the cursed arctic reign Beneath these ashen towers
