Transition
Sep 01, 2020 4 years agoTransition. Transition is a lot of work, it's painful and alot of psychological and physical exertion is needed to succeed in it. Transition from childhood to adulthood is a great demanding task, you feel each bones of your existence crack and adjusts and shapes into that unbeatable werewolf at twilight. Stuttering feets, the child learns to take bold steps, steps amidst the stampedes. A man's transition is the toughest, he is only accepted for what he can contribute, the pains are real because each and every step he takes, his feets stutters at what uncertainty lies ahead. The stampedes won't impede his feets from moving. A man's journey of is of no return, forward ever, backwards never till his heart beats benediction. Thoughts on how engulfed it was when i had to leave his father's house in pursuit of my own life.. Fear of lack and scarcity was a tie fastened on my neck as I walked down the isle in my suit to my destiny Like an anvils to the arteries the desire to leave was so binding strong that no fear irrespective of it's make and model could conquer. And when the day finally cameðŸ˜, sleep was at war with my eye lids, for it was impossible to close my gentle eyes to dusk of the night A soldier in preparation for a long battle, I totally had my bags packed up, every single utensils I might need, packed up, from tooth brush to spoon and a threading needle, oh I know I would do some raiments patching, a cup and two plates, the only pair of shoe would be on my foot as I would match on to forever of no return.. I couldn't sleep😓 All in one bag I packed was all my life's possession contained..🥺 I was small. I slipped out of the house, unannounced to anyone, I looked back to the door which I had opened silently and begged to not make a sound and a tear dropped down my eyes🥺.. I wasn't going to see the door anymore as frequently as. Till today I am still on life's transition, Taking uncertain steps..
The cold winter.
Sep 01, 2020 4 years agoThe coldest Winter It was one of the most coldest Winter and many animals were dying because of the cold. The porcupines, realizing the situation, decided to group together to keep each other warm. This was a great way to protect themselves from cold and keep each of them warm, but the Quills of each one wounded their closest companions. After a while, they decided to distance themselves, but they too began to die due to cold. So they had to make a choice either to: 1) accept the quills of their companions or, 2) choose death. Wisely, they decided to go back to being together. They learned to live with the little wounds caused by close relationship with their companions in order to receive the warmth of their togetherness. This way they were able to survive.
