Who is your role model?
Aug 31, 2018 6 years agoMany times in life, we come through a mind-boggling, tough, great influential person who leaves a significant and exceptional impacts on our lives. Most everyone has a role model in their life, and the question is "Who is your role model?" They could be a teacher, friend, celebrities, an athlete, administrative officials or even parents. A role model is a person who emboldens and inspires us to strive for greatness, live to our fullest potential and witness the best version in ourselves. A person we admire and someone we aspire to be like. We have been guided and thought through them, their fidelity to excellence and their capacity to make us realize our own personal growth. A role model does not have to be a famous personality or to be strong as Manny Pacquiao or to be beautiful as Pia Wurtzbach or to be sacred as Mother Teresa and to be rich as Bill Gates. As for me, my parents are my role model, they posses the quality of a good parent. My mother, being a housewife manages all her work perfectly and with efficiency, She demonstrates leadership skills and I have known no one else among the thousands of people I have met, interacted with, or even heard of, who is as confident calm and strong as my mother. Moreover, she always has a positive attitude in every situation, however hopeless the situation may be. Her readiness to take the lead in decision making and provide leadership assures everyone of success. My father goes to school but still does not forget to help me with my studies and instead having a rest he tries to give me some time to gain knowledge from him. No parent is perfect, but I believe they carry the quality and a right virtue of a parent that everyone could wish for. My parents are a good provider, they provide us what we need from basic needs such as food, water, and Home. They are very responsible, committed.to their duties, caring, smart, wise, patient, devoted and well determined in the pursue of their plans to develop and nurture us with good worth and norms so that we will became well disciplined, God centered individual and taught us to love and respect others as we continue our journey or to pass it on to the next generation. Even in the midst of hardships and hard-work, they are still solid as a rock. They were born into poverty and difficulty. They taught us of what resiliency and patience is. They do not complain about their suffer of letting us grow and promoting good morals. Instead, it makes the situation a meaningful and a funny one, cracking jokes while laughing inside our perfect home. They would like us to feel that we should deal and learn to accept problems in life with the positive look-out, facing hardship is part, fragment, fraction. and parcel of life. If we face a problem, do not feel despair and get bored. They have answered my question in mind on how to find hope in the midst of hardship. I do not look for a lot in a role model, but wealth and power are not my primary stimulant. I greatly desire and admire to emulate people who value humanity, are confident and are willing and eager to help others succeed. That describes my parents; My role Models. Their professional and personal conduct is magnificently awesome, and their will and determination to see me succeed puts my hope on a higher step. They are my pillars of strength and I would like to be like them. They are the people behind my future success. In the current world where media sources such as social media have continuously and negatively influenced masses, youth look up to celebrities as their role model, they haven't much appreciated those people near them. Youth today are more the products of mass media rather than their genes. Media has caused the now-generation to be more anti social because they are always glued and understated by phone, affects their physical activities and lessens the time they spend with their family. For me, However, my motivation and source of inspiration are my parents who are my role models. They have turned me into a fighter in this challenging world.
