I am a daughter of my parents and a sister of my sister. I love balloons. I love reading online comics, specifically in webtoon. I love Nicholas Sparks movies and I am dreaming to buy his books if only I could afford them. I am crazy, people say that. I'm a night owl and I love moon. That's basically it. Welcome!

The K to 12 Program is a major part of the campaign platform of our previous president, President Benigno Aquino III. K to 12 has kindergarten as base, followed by six years of elementary (Grade 1-6), four years of junior high (Grade 7-10), and two years of senior high (Grade 11-12). This program has implemented in 2011 and was signed by the law back in 2013. The Department of Education, cited the Filipino students' low scores when it comes to national and international tests, and the Philipines was often fourth from last, or worse, in the Trends of Math and Sciences Study. The Dep Ed claimed that adding two more years will give the students time in mastering their essential competencies and skills, with the objectives of receiving high academic grades especially in math, science, english, and filipino. Now, that it has implemented and has applied, is it more practical to study two more years? The downside of the K to 12 program has discovered. The parents have to sell out more money to provide the needs of their children for education. Some students have to leave their house and abide in a boarding house just to meet the strand that they want in a particular school. Because we all know that the Philippines is not yet ready, the K-12 said to cure all the deficiencies -- when there is not even enough numbers of trained teachers for senior high students where they are supposed to learn employable skills. Every family is dreaming to have a graduate student, and they are wanting to find a job early, earn money in order to have a greater life for them to help the other members of the family. Other downside is that the numbers of drop out will increase, because studying two more extra years will bore a student and that is reality. However, the K to 12 program contributes a greater impact to the skills of a student. In elementary grades it helps to improve their reading and writing skills, ability to comprehend and compute. The two years of senior high school intended to provide time for students to consolidate acquired academic skill and competencies. Graduates are taught and trained to possess competencies relevant to the market job. They improved their skills and developed more skills to become more competitive enough because of the help of the added two years in school. The curriculum allowed specialization in science and technolgy, music and arts, agriculture and fisheries, sports, business and entreprenuership. The graduates of K to 12 program will acquire mastery of basic competencies and be more emotionally mature. Because of the K to 12 Program, the graduates are now prepared for higher education due to the enhanced curriculum that will provide relevant content, basic education will ensure sufficient and efficient mastery of core subject to its graduates to choose higher education if they choose to. We will experience a better educated society provides a strong foundation for long-term socio-economic development because of the K to 12 Program. This program will contribute to the development of emotionally and intellectually matures individuals. They are now capable of pursuing productive employment or entrepreneurship or higher education. Education is very important to us, the root of it may be bitter but the fruit of it is sweet. It is the ticket to our success. It deals with a big role in our better future. For us, the K to 12 is implemented so that we can produce a student that is more literate, and competitive in a very good way, in able to find jobs more easily and can contribute to the country's pride as well as the econom of our country. We should think that this program has a great value in our lives and can help us to become a good contributor of this country, and that helping hand will remain until our last breath.

Food Review

'Chocolate Parfait'
Metro Surigao Shopping Center and Food Gallery
Surigao City | Philippines

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐

"We eat with our eyes first", Yes, Indeed.
I was craving for an ice cream and just in time whe my classmate invited me to buy some in one of the most nearest place to eat desserts, the Food Gallery inside Metro Surigao Shopping Center. I was aiming for a Halo-halo but then a picture on the menu caught my attention. A dessert called 'Chocolate Parfait' captured my heart and made me grabbed some money from my pocket and ordered a delicious and chocolaty dessert. It cost me P95.00 which is not a friendly budget for a student like me. The ambiance of the place was so calm and very instagrammable as well, however, the customer service was very dissapointing. The cashier gave me an inapt look which is not delightful to me as a customer I don't know what's the stroy behind it but I am looking forward for an improvement of their service.

When the crew served my order I was so excited to try it and what I'm more excited about was to try their cute long handled teaspoon. Basically, it was a tall glass, layered by ice cream mixed with a chocolate flakes, and topped with whipped cream, small sized kisses toppings, chocolate syrup, and a milk flavoured super stick. I love how the chocolate syrup was placed in the glass it gives a very aesthetic look which is the reason why my eyes and my heart fell in love with it. The whipped cream was vapid which is good for me in order to balance the flavours of each ingredient. The small sized kisses will totally go crazy inside your mouth and it will give you a very satisfying feeling every time you crunch each of them, just like mine. The chocolate flakes added a very good flavour to the parfait and the ice cream tastes like selecta ice cream which I gave a very good point for it, I mean, who doesn't love selecta ice cream, right?

However, while I am in the half of my glass of the parfait, the taste of the small sized kisses were turning into peanuts, which I don't like, it is becoming so distasteful in fact I did not finish eating it and I realized that I wasted half of my 95 pesos. But, it really depends on you. Personally, I am not a fan of eating too much sweets and I don't like peanuts. We have different kinds of likes and dislikes, so this review won't affect you if you love sweets, and if you can finish a tall glass of parfait. In that way you won't waste your P95.00 and will enjoy yourself eating the dessert inside their cool and fresh place, viewing the wonderful city of Surigao.

A Personal Sketch about Her

Sep 22, 2018 6 years ago

'Through the Eyes of a Chinita Princess' Wandering inside the campus with my trusty partner to look for an individual who can fill our personal sketch project. We were searching every corner of the school to find this perfect one. Time was running and it end up with disappointment. We disappointed ourselves in finding this person so we decided to buy something to eat in the school canteen, because we believe that foods can fix everything. Upon pulling the door, we suddenly disappointed ourselves again, because it's not pull, it's push. As we tried the second attempt in opening the puzzle, we were mesmerized by this young lady who's eating her tender and juicy hotdog. She has a lenient face that tells everyone the kindness of her heart. She is 5 ft. tall with a small waist, balanced shoulders, and has a fair skin. Her hair was dazzling like a bronze medal and we envy that so much. She has a rosy cheek caused by the blush on, and has this kissable lips that can persuade every girl to buy a KJM liptint. Her eyebrows are not thick, it's too thin but it fits perfectly on her face. The best curves on her face appeared that triggered us to approach her. When we started talking to her we often saw her smile that made her eyes disappear. We call her 'Chinita Princess'. Her eyes is her favorite part of her face, even I and my partner loves it. Regen Alibangbang Rasonabe known as chinita princess was born on June 1,2000 raised in Mabua P-3, Surigao City. Her father's name is Ricky Rasonabe and her mother's name is Virginia Alibangbang. She has five siblings and they treat each others very well, her family is her companion and they are the reason why she is happy and blessed to be alive. As a normal young girl she has an interesting hobby, this hobby led her to her track in school. She is a senior high student of SSCT major in cookery. She loves cooking and her specialty is adobo. Regen also loves preparing foods for her friends, eating foods is their bonding. Beside of the happiness and beautiful sceneries that can be seen in Regen's Life there are hidden cockroaches and spiders behind her angelic face, her patience is as short as her lashes. She easily gets upset and stressed whenever someone is trying to pull her down. She gets mad when people don't treat her right, she can't hide her emotions. When she gets mad it is very visible on her face. But after every dark storm there is always a colorful rainbow that will fix the damages. Regen is a friendly person but never test her patience, because we believe that innocent faces are worst than your nightmare. As the saying says, 'never judge a book by its cover'.

How to show brightness if I am an ebony star Being stuck in a dark dungeon together with my fear and bother. Overcoming it but I was soak in tears. O' please make me live and let me dream big. The Greatest Showman

Sep 08, 2018 6 years ago

The greatest showman was a door to my dreams. I am a dreamer. I wished to become a stager, and the movie really touches my heart on dreaming big and not to give up on your dreams no matter what the hindrances are. In the very first place I was amazed by the boy's character, he was a survivor and his courage was heart stopping. He inspired people, not just ordinary one but also the people around us who don't have confidence. As what I have witnessed he was their voice, he raised their confidence and trained them to fly high. In real world their are people who can boost your confidence, who can motivate you to get out from your shell and to shine bright. But never forget that yourself is the reason why you're doing such things because you are the reason why your heart beats, going back to the story, he followed his heart and that's what made his dream possible. During their circus play they gave justices to their roles, they communicate to their audiences and that's why the crowd understand them because in their eyes you can truly see the messages because they were good. There is one thing that I am going to apply for sure when I am on stage, and that is to have fun before, during, and in the end of the play. Entertaining people is not an easy job but when you entertain people with all your heart it feels like you're entertaining yourself as well. Their applause is your trophy. Don't be scared to let your heart rule because in the end it'll all be worth it.
