Dr. Lynn possesses a distinctive interest and expertise in plastic surgery and emergency nursing. She is passionate about promoting women's health and advocating for high-quality patient care.
Dr. Lynn Willis-Carr, FNP-BC had been in the medical field for over 12 years. After earning her nursing degree in 2014, she completed advanced-practice nursing training obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing. As she is passionate regarding staying abreast of current standards of care and changes in healthcare, she received a terminal degree in nursing practice. Her nursing background includes OB/GYN, plastic surgery, emergency nursing, and home healthcare. Lynn is dedicated to providing patient-centered care focusing on open communication and patient education.
Her commitment to education begin over 20 years ago as a former educator and mentor for many Detroit teens. Born and raised in Detroit Michigan, she is proud of her roots and give back by serving the Detroit Metro community providing preventive services and prenatal healthcare to expected mothers and women throughout the city. She brings her love of education to the medical setting as she instructs and provide medical education to all patients.
As a member of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Association for Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, Lynn’s attentiveness to the latest medical developments and best practices is essential as a healthcare provider. She has training in the field of family health, obstetrics and gynecology, plastic surgery, preop and post-op care, cosmetic injections including BOTOX procedures, microneedling, and dermal filler treatments such as Juvederm XC. She has also authored several medical journal articles staying abreast of current medical research and literature promoting healthcare and best practices. She enjoys working in healthcare as a provider utilizing her nursing skills and gifts in treating a diverse patient population.
